Description
The LCM 473 is a standard Dew Point Thermo-Hygrometer, with a probe that includes a 2-stage Peltier measurement head, it is best suited for insertion into test chambers or environments with moving air.
Particularly suitable for use in relative humidity generators where it functions as a calibration transfer standard for dew/frost point, relative humidity and temperature. The LCM 473 can be used to calibrate the RH generator (before and after field tests) or act as a reference during the calibration of the RH probes.
The LCM 473 includes a temperature sensor for accurate temperature measurement with a 3 x 40mm platinum resistance thermometer (PRT) that can be mounted directly to the measurement head. Using a cable, it is supplied as standard. This ensures that the temperature used to calculate the RH is correct by minimizing the effects of temperature gradients or self-heating of the IUT.
